The Skull Riderz are a gang encountered in BattleTanx and BattleTanx: Global Assault, and also a part of the Dark Alliance.
Before the apocalypse, the Skull Riderz we're a well known one-percenter biker gang with chapters all around the mid to west coast. Their criminal activities were the subject of attention from law enforcement and the media. They feuded with many other clubs throughout the decades for supremacy over the roads long before the world ended.
Their tenacity and ruthlessness is what helped them survive through the X2 outbreak and the nuclear Armageddon that followed soon after. They we're amongst the first trade to their wheels for treads. Their mechanical knowledge of motorcycles came handy when it came to commandeering, maintaining, modifying, salvaging and even manufacturing tanks. While other gangs were destroyed throughout the collapse, the Skull Riderz thrived. Any rival gang that survived the apocalypse soon would fall victim to the Skull Riderz or be absorb by them under one patch.
The Skull Riderz became a force to be reckoned with. They were proficient at patrolling the wastes in their signature Mototanks, raiding small enclaves of survivors, and devastating cities in their Hornet tanks. Their power enabled them to ally with the Dark Angels and After Shocks to form the Dark Alliance. As a whole, this unholy alliance brought much despair as they embarked on territorial control and genocide in the wastelands of America in Battletanx.
The Skull Riderz amongst their other allies were decimated thanks to Griffin Spade's Army. In Battletanx: Global Assault, Skull Riderz still exist but are under control by Cassandra. The leadership is in somewhat disarray since their first encounter with Griffin. However, they are still a threat to the roads and operate in nominal capacity, such as controlling Route 66 Drive In and a slave fortress in Texas
